SIT Study Abroad: Mexico: Migration, Borders

Discover the human impacts of undocumented migration, border enforcement, and shifting international tensions. Begin in Tucson, Arizona, near a major U.S. entry point, to learn what migrants face after crossing the border. Then travel to Oaxaca to study how economics, policy, and conflict affect migration patterns. In Mexico City, meet with organizations supporting migrants in transit, explore historical sites, and visit one of Latin Americas most important anthropological museums. Throughout, develop Spanish skills through coursework, homestays, and excursions.
